The Ballet Folklórico Xalixco is an independent dance group that has forged for itself a very good reputation. It’s now considered the best in the region. Sometimes we dance with improvised wardrobe. We apologize. Being independent means that we don’t have sponsors and sometimes it’s very difficult to purchase the appropriate costumes. We function without a dance instructor, yet, we go on. The desire to dance to the best of our ability is there.
